–August 31st, 2019 – 6th Annual Summer Fish Derby–
Due to our regular Father’s Day derby being rained out the club put on a make-up date later in the year. Lake conditions, time of year, and weather conditions were not in the club’s favor. Early morning rain dampened spirits a little. Being later in the season lake levels were not what they should have been as boat launches were not able to be used. The Daly Beach launch was dug out just for this event to allow boats to launch. Overall the club had 17 adults and 6 youth registered. Out of the youth Adyen Amamm won a fishing package for a 33cm walleye. All youth received a well stocked fishing package courtesy of Ramsay Construction. For adults there were a combined 15 fish caught.
8 Walleye – Craige Madden – 41cm
4 Northern Pike – Michelle Sedgewick – 65cm
3 Perch – Calvin Douglas – 22cm
0 Rock Bass caught
Jaxson Dane won $48 in the 50/50
Bonnie Taylor won a garbage can bbq
Rod Rose won a $100 Luke’s Town Service gift certificate
–June 17th, 2018 – 5th Annual Father’s Day Derby–
We had a wonderful turnout at our 5th annual Father’s Day derby. We had a record 82 adults and 23 youth registered. Our sponsors play a huge part of our derbies. Please make sure to give them recognition for helping our association. With their help we are able to give away over $1200 in cash and prizes. There were a lot of boats on the water this year. Everything from canoes to fishing boats to pontoons. C&C Rentals were displaying and making waves in the water with boats from Princecraft. Anyone need a new boat?
